After the surgery 

After the surgery, you require to stay in the hospital approximately 4 to 5 days. After you will discharged from the hospital your doctor may have some recommendations for your daily life activities and eating habits. You should start to use some medications to help your new kidney working and you are required to be in contact with your doctors in the following months after the surgery.

What is liver transplantation?

Liver transplantation is a surgery to remove a damaged liver and replace a healthy liver into a patient who is suffering from liver failure.

How is liver transplantation performed? 

Liver transplantation is performed under general anesthesia and usually takes 5 to 15 hours. The liver transplantation is performed from a person just died. In some cases part of a liver can be transplanted from a related living donor.

You may start your daily activities  and start working in a few months and the fully recovery period takes 6 to 12 months. You should start to use some medications to help your new liver working and you are required to be in contact with your doctors in the following months after the surgery.
