2. The Facility
All MedProper dental implant procedures are performed in JCI-accredited hospitals or in dental clinics that operate within JCI-accredited hospital complexes. JCI accreditation requires compliance with over 1,400 standards covering infection control, surgical safety, medication management, patient identification, emergency protocols, and clinical outcomes reporting.

4. The Aftercare
Patients remain in Istanbul for up to 8 days after implant placement, with scheduled follow-up appointments on Days 3, 5, and 7. Any complications — such as unusual swelling, infection, or implant mobility — are identified and addressed immediately.
After returning home, patients have ongoing access to their MedProper coordinator and treating surgeon via WhatsApp. If a clinical concern arises, we arrange a remote consultation within 24 hours. Dental Implants and Bone Grafting: What You Need to Know
One of the most common concerns among dental implant candidates is whether they have "enough bone" for implants. Bone loss in the jaw occurs naturally after tooth extraction — the body reabsorbs bone that is no longer stimulated by a tooth root. Patients who have been missing teeth for years, or who have worn dentures for a long time, often present with significant bone atrophy.
When Is Bone Grafting Needed?
Bone grafting may be recommended when:
The jawbone is too narrow or too shallow to accommodate a standard implant
