A neck lift (platysmaplasty) tightens the platysma muscle bands and removes excess skin and fat beneath the chin and along the neck to restore a smooth, defined jawline-to-neck profile. Hotel Rest
Bruising begins to fade. Sleep with your head elevated and continue wearing the compression garment as directed.
Day 7-10
Suture Removal
Stitches are removed at the clinic. Most patients feel comfortable flying home at this stage.
Week 2-4
Gradual Return to Activities
Desk work and light social activities resume. Avoid heavy lifting and vigorous exercise.
Month 2-6
Final Contour
Residual swelling resolves and the smooth neck contour becomes fully established.
