Rhinoplasty is a surgical procedure that reshapes the nose to improve its appearance and/or function. Day 1–2
Hospital Stay
One night in the hospital. Mild discomfort managed with medication. Nasal packing removed within 24 hours.
Day 3–7
Initial Recovery
Rest at your hotel. Bruising around eyes peaks at day 3 then fades. External cast remains in place.
Day 7–10
Cast Removal
Cast and sutures removed at follow-up visit. You can return home. Most social bruising has resolved.
Week 2–6
Gradual Improvement
Swelling continues to reduce. Tip remains slightly swollen. You can return to light work and social activities.
Month 3–12
Final Result
Residual tip swelling resolves gradually. Final nose shape fully visible by 12 months. Follow-up photos taken.
