What Are Dental Veneers?

Dental veneers are ultra-thin shells — typically between 0.3 mm and 0.7 mm thick — that are permanently bonded to the front surface of your teeth. They correct discolouration, chips, gaps, minor misalignment, and uneven tooth shapes in a single treatment cycle. Unlike orthodontics, which can take one to two years, veneers deliver a transformed smile in as little as seven days.

Veneers belong to the broader category of cosmetic dentistry known as indirect restorations. A dentist prepares the tooth surface, takes an impression (digital or physical), and a dental laboratory fabricates each shell to precise specifications. Once bonded, veneers look and function like natural enamel. They resist staining better than natural teeth and, when properly maintained, can last 15 to 25 years depending on the material.

At MedProper, dental veneers are one of our most requested treatments. Thousands of patients travel to Istanbul each year for smile makeovers that would cost three to five times more at home. This page explains every veneer type we offer, transparent 2026 pricing in EUR, the treatment timeline, and what makes our Istanbul dental centre a trusted choice for patients from the UK, Europe, and beyond.

Types of Dental Veneers: E-Max, Porcelain, Composite & Crowns

Not all veneers are the same. The material, thickness, preparation method, and expected lifespan differ significantly between types. Understanding these differences is essential before committing to treatment.

E-Max Veneers (Lithium Disilicate)

E-Max is the premium standard in modern cosmetic dentistry. Manufactured from lithium disilicate glass-ceramic by Ivoclar Vivadent, E-Max veneers combine exceptional translucency with high flexural strength (approximately 400 MPa). The result is a veneer that mimics the light-transmitting properties of natural enamel while resisting fracture under normal biting forces.

E-Max veneers are pressed or milled using CAD/CAM technology, ensuring sub-millimetre accuracy in fit. They require minimal tooth preparation — often as little as 0.3 to 0.5 mm of enamel removal — which preserves more of your natural tooth structure than traditional porcelain or crown-based approaches.

Key advantages of E-Max veneers:

  • Superior translucency that matches natural teeth under all lighting conditions
  • Minimal preparation preserves healthy enamel
  • High strength-to-thickness ratio (thinner than conventional porcelain)
  • Excellent colour stability — no yellowing or greying over time
  • Biocompatible — no metal substructure, no dark gum lines
  • Expected lifespan of 15 to 25 years with proper care

E-Max veneers are our most recommended option for patients seeking a natural, long-lasting result. They are particularly well suited to front teeth (the "smile zone" of upper and lower incisors and canines) where aesthetics matter most.

Porcelain Crowns (Full-Coverage Restoration)

Porcelain crowns differ from veneers in that they cover the entire tooth rather than just the front surface. A crown is the appropriate choice when a tooth is heavily damaged, has had root canal treatment, or requires structural reinforcement that a veneer cannot provide.

MedProper offers metal-free zirconia-based porcelain crowns that provide both strength and aesthetics. Zirconia crowns have a flexural strength exceeding 1,000 MPa, making them suitable for both front and back teeth. They are layered with porcelain to achieve a natural appearance.

Crowns require more tooth preparation than veneers — typically 1.5 to 2 mm of reduction around the entire circumference. This is a more invasive procedure, but it is clinically necessary for teeth that lack sufficient healthy structure to support a veneer.

When to choose crowns over veneers:

  • Teeth with large existing fillings (more than 50% of the tooth structure)
  • Teeth weakened by root canal treatment
  • Severely broken or decayed teeth
  • Teeth with significant structural damage from grinding (bruxism)
  • Back teeth (molars and premolars) that bear heavy chewing forces

Composite Bonding (Direct Veneers)

Composite veneers are applied directly to the tooth surface in a single appointment, without a laboratory fabrication step. The dentist layers tooth-coloured composite resin onto the prepared tooth, sculpts it by hand, and cures it with UV light.

Composite bonding is the most affordable veneer option and requires the least tooth preparation — in many cases, no enamel removal at all. This makes it a reversible or near-reversible treatment, which appeals to younger patients or those unsure about committing to permanent veneers.

However, composite veneers have notable limitations compared to ceramic options:

  • Shorter lifespan: 5 to 8 years on average (vs 15-25 for E-Max)
  • More prone to staining from coffee, tea, red wine, and tobacco
  • Lower fracture resistance — more likely to chip under heavy biting
  • Require periodic polishing to maintain surface smoothness
  • Less natural translucency than pressed ceramic

Composite bonding is a good choice for minor cosmetic corrections — a single chipped tooth, small gaps between teeth, or a trial run before committing to porcelain. For a full smile makeover, E-Max or porcelain veneers deliver superior long-term results.

Turkey vs UK vs USA: Dental Veneer Price Comparison

The cost difference between Turkey and Western countries is not a reflection of quality — it is a consequence of lower operating costs, favourable exchange rates, and high patient volume that enables Istanbul dental centres to maintain premium materials at accessible prices.

To put these numbers in context: a full Hollywood Smile with 20 E-Max veneers at a mid-range London dental practice costs approximately €20,000. The same treatment at MedProper — using the same Ivoclar E-Max material, fabricated in an ISO-certified dental laboratory — costs from €6,352, including 5 hotel nights. Even after adding flights (€100-€250 return from London), the total spend is under €7,000. That represents a saving of approximately €13,000.

For patients from the United States, the savings are even more pronounced. A Hollywood Smile in New York or Los Angeles can exceed $40,000. The equivalent at MedProper costs from $6,867, plus flights.

Why Turkey for Dental Veneers? The "Turkey Teeth" Phenomenon Explained

Turkey has become the world's leading destination for dental tourism, and for good reason. Istanbul alone is home to more than 400 dental clinics, many housed within JCI-accredited hospitals with ISO-certified in-house laboratories. The sheer volume of patients — Turkey treats an estimated 700,000 dental tourists annually — creates an ecosystem of specialisation, efficiency, and competitive pricing that is difficult to replicate elsewhere.

However, the term "Turkey teeth" has gained negative connotations on social media, particularly TikTok and Reddit. It typically refers to patients who received overly white, bulky, uniform veneers that look artificial — often because they chose the cheapest option without understanding the clinical implications.

The reality is more nuanced. Bad veneer outcomes in Turkey (and anywhere else) are almost always the result of one or more of the following factors:

  • Excessive preparation: Some clinics grind teeth down to pegs unnecessarily, when minimal-prep or no-prep veneers would have been appropriate. This destroys healthy enamel and creates irreversible damage.
  • Low-quality materials: Not all "porcelain" is equal. Cheap feldspathic porcelain or unbranded ceramics lack the translucency and strength of E-Max or premium zirconia.
  • Cookie-cutter design: Using a single shade and shape template for all 20 teeth produces the characteristic "Chiclet" appearance. Natural teeth have subtle variations in colour, translucency, and shape.
  • Inexperienced practitioners: High patient volume attracts operators who prioritise speed over clinical precision.
  • No digital planning: Skipping the Digital Smile Design (DSD) step means the patient cannot preview or approve the result before irreversible preparation begins.

At MedProper, we address every one of these concerns:

  • Minimal preparation protocol: Our dentists remove only the enamel thickness clinically required for the chosen veneer type. For E-Max veneers, this is typically 0.3 to 0.5 mm — a fraction of what aggressive preparation involves.
  • Genuine E-Max and branded materials only: We use exclusively Ivoclar Vivadent E-Max ingots and certified zirconia blanks. Every case comes with a material certificate that the patient can verify.
  • Individualised shade matching: Each tooth is colour-matched using a Vita shade guide, with input from the patient. We offer the full Vita Classic and Vita 3D-Master shade ranges, not just "Hollywood white."
  • Digital Smile Design (DSD): Before any preparation, you see a digital mockup of your final smile. Adjustments are made at this stage, not after your teeth have been prepared.
  • Experienced cosmetic dentists: Our dental team includes practitioners with 10+ years of cosmetic dentistry experience, each completing hundreds of veneer cases annually.

The lesson is clear: Turkey is not the problem — choosing the wrong clinic is. Patients who research their provider, insist on branded materials, and verify the treatment plan before preparation begins consistently achieve excellent results.

E-Max Veneers Turkey: Why They Are the Gold Standard

E-Max has become the benchmark material for cosmetic veneers worldwide, and for compelling clinical reasons.

Lithium disilicate (the base material of E-Max) was developed by Ivoclar Vivadent in Liechtenstein and has been refined over two decades of clinical use. It occupies a unique position in dental ceramics: strong enough for functional teeth, yet translucent enough to replicate the optical properties of natural enamel.

When light hits a natural tooth, it partially passes through the enamel, reflects off the underlying dentine, and exits with a warm, lifelike quality. E-Max replicates this behaviour because its glass-ceramic microstructure allows controlled light transmission. Cheaper porcelain and composite materials tend to be more opaque, producing a flat, artificial appearance that is particularly noticeable in direct sunlight or photography.

Clinical Evidence for E-Max Longevity

Multiple peer-reviewed studies confirm the durability of lithium disilicate veneers:

  • A 2019 systematic review in the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry reported a 97.4% survival rate for lithium disilicate veneers at 5 years and 95.6% at 10 years.
  • Research published in the International Journal of Prosthodontics found that minimal-preparation E-Max veneers showed no statistically significant difference in failure rates compared to conventional-preparation veneers over a 7-year follow-up.
  • A 2021 clinical study confirmed that E-Max veneers bonded with resin cement maintained colour stability and marginal integrity over a 12-year observation period.

These outcomes depend on correct clinical technique — proper bonding protocol, adequate isolation during cementation, and appropriate occlusal adjustment. MedProper dentists follow the Ivoclar-recommended bonding protocol for every E-Max case.

E-Max vs Zirconia: When Each Material Is Appropriate

Zirconia is sometimes marketed as superior to E-Max due to its higher strength (1,000+ MPa vs 400 MPa). However, strength alone does not determine the best material for veneers.

E-Max is preferred for front teeth (incisors and canines) because of its superior translucency and natural appearance. Zirconia, despite modern improvements in translucency, still tends to appear more opaque — particularly in thinner applications.

Zirconia excels for posterior crowns (molars and premolars) where bite forces are greatest and aesthetics are less critical. For full-mouth restorations, a combination approach is often optimal: E-Max veneers for the visible smile zone and zirconia crowns for the back teeth.

At MedProper, your dentist will recommend the material best suited to each tooth position rather than applying a single material across the entire arch.

Porcelain vs Composite Veneers: Which Should You Choose?

This is one of the most common questions we receive, and the answer depends on your goals, budget, and time horizon.

Choose E-Max or porcelain veneers if:

  • You want a result that lasts 15 to 25 years
  • You prefer maximum stain resistance (important for coffee and wine drinkers)
  • You are investing in a full smile makeover (10 to 20 teeth)
  • You want the most natural-looking translucency
  • You are willing to accept that the preparation is irreversible

Choose composite bonding if:

  • You need to correct one or two teeth (a chip, a small gap, minor discolouration)
  • You want a reversible or near-reversible option
  • Your budget is limited and you prefer a lower upfront cost
  • You are under 25 and your teeth may still shift slightly
  • You want to "test drive" a new smile before committing to porcelain

Our recommendation: For patients travelling to Istanbul specifically for a smile makeover, E-Max veneers offer the best long-term value. Compare the per-tooth cost of composite (€120) and E-Max (€285): over a 20-year period, composite veneers would need to be replaced two to three times, costing €360 to €480 per tooth in total — more than the one-time investment in E-Max.

Hollywood Smile Turkey: Full Smile Makeover Packages

The Hollywood Smile refers to a complete smile transformation, typically involving veneers or crowns on 16 to 20 visible teeth (the upper and lower teeth visible when you smile). The goal is a uniform, bright, well-proportioned smile that frames the face.

A Hollywood Smile is not a single procedure — it is a comprehensive treatment plan that may include:

  • Veneers or crowns on 16 to 20 teeth
  • Shade selection (from natural white to brighter Hollywood white)
  • Gum contouring (if the gum line is uneven or a "gummy smile" is present)
  • Digital Smile Design to preview the result
  • Bite adjustment to ensure proper occlusion

How Shade Selection Works

One of the most important decisions in a Hollywood Smile is the shade — the colour and brightness of your new teeth. At MedProper, we use the Vita shade guide system and offer the full range from natural (A1, A2, B1) to bright white (Bleach 1, Bleach 2, Bleach 3).

During your consultation, your dentist will hold shade tabs against your skin tone, lip colour, and the whites of your eyes to recommend the most flattering shade. The Digital Smile Design mockup will show you how each shade option looks in context.

Our advice: the brightest white (Bleach 1) looks striking in photos but can appear artificial in person, particularly for patients with darker complexions. Most of our patients choose B1 or Bleach 2, which deliver a noticeably brighter smile while remaining believable.

The Treatment Process: From Virtual Consultation to Final Fit

Dental veneers at MedProper follow a structured timeline, typically completed over two visits across about 6 days in Istanbul.

Before You Arrive: Virtual Consultation

Your treatment begins with a free virtual consultation. You submit photographs of your teeth (front, side, and close-up of your smile) along with any existing dental records or X-rays. Our dental team reviews your case, identifies the best treatment approach, and provides a detailed quote with the exact number of veneers, material recommendation, and total cost.

If you have specific shade preferences or reference photos of the smile you want, share them at this stage. Your Digital Smile Design mockup will be based on this input.

Day 1: Arrival and Initial Examination

You arrive in Istanbul and are collected from the airport by private transfer. At the dental centre, your dentist performs a comprehensive examination including:

  • Full-mouth panoramic X-ray (OPG)
  • Intraoral photographs and video
  • Dental impressions (digital scan or physical)
  • Bite analysis
  • Shade consultation with the Vita guide
  • Final Digital Smile Design presentation and approval

This appointment typically takes 60 to 90 minutes. Once you approve the treatment plan and DSD, your dentist schedules the preparation appointment.

Day 2: Tooth Preparation and Temporary Veneers

This is the most involved appointment. Under local anaesthesia, your dentist prepares each tooth by removing a thin layer of enamel (0.3 to 0.5 mm for E-Max veneers, more for crowns). The procedure takes 2 to 4 hours depending on the number of teeth.

Immediately after preparation, high-precision impressions are taken and sent to the dental laboratory. Custom temporary veneers (acrylic or bis-acryl composite) are fabricated and fitted the same day. These temporaries protect your prepared teeth and give you a functional, presentable smile while your permanent veneers are being made.

Days 3 to 5: Laboratory Fabrication Period

Your permanent veneers are crafted in the dental laboratory over several days. During this period, you are free to explore Istanbul, relax at the hotel, or attend to personal business. Your dentist may schedule a brief check-up on day 4 to assess the temporaries and address any questions.

The laboratory process involves multiple steps: wax-up, pressing or milling the ceramic, layering and staining for natural colour gradients, glazing, and final polishing. Each veneer is individually crafted — not mass-produced — which is why the process takes several days.

Day 5-6: Trial Fitting and Permanent Bonding

Your permanent veneers arrive from the laboratory. The dentist first performs a trial fitting (try-in) with temporary cement, allowing you to see and feel the result before final bonding. This is your opportunity to request adjustments to shade, shape, or fit.

Once you approve the try-in, the veneers are permanently bonded using light-cured resin cement under rubber dam isolation. Each tooth is individually etched, primed, and bonded — the entire process takes 2 to 3 hours for a full set.

A final bite check and polish completes the treatment. Your dentist reviews aftercare instructions, provides a take-home care kit, and schedules a brief follow-up for the next morning if needed.

Day 6: Departure

A final check-up confirms everything is settled. You receive your complete documentation: treatment records, material certificates, before-and-after photographs, and warranty information. Airport transfer takes you to your departure flight.

How Long Do Veneers Last? Durability and Maintenance

The lifespan of your veneers depends primarily on the material and your oral hygiene habits.

Veneer TypeExpected LifespanMain Risk Factor
E-Max veneer15 - 25 yearsBruxism (teeth grinding)
Porcelain crown15 - 25 yearsGum recession, decay at margins
Composite bonding5 - 8 yearsStaining, chipping

To maximise the lifespan of your veneers:

  • Brush twice daily with a soft-bristled toothbrush and non-abrasive fluoride toothpaste
  • Floss daily — veneers do not change the need for interdental cleaning
  • Avoid biting hard objects — do not use your front teeth to open packaging, bite nails, or crack nuts
  • Wear a night guard if you grind your teeth (bruxism). MedProper can fabricate a custom night guard during your visit for an additional fee
  • Attend regular dental check-ups at home — every 6 months, including professional cleaning
  • Limit staining substances for composite veneers (coffee, red wine, turmeric, tobacco). E-Max veneers are highly stain-resistant and do not require this precaution

Veneers Gone Wrong: How to Avoid Bad Results

The internet is full of cautionary tales about dental work abroad, and some of those concerns are valid. Here is how to protect yourself:

Red Flags to Watch For

  • No Digital Smile Design offered: If a clinic does not show you a preview of the final result before preparation, you have no way to approve the outcome in advance.
  • Excessively low prices: If the price seems too good to be true (under €100 per E-Max veneer), the clinic may be using unbranded ceramic or cutting laboratory steps.
  • Pressure to decide immediately: Reputable clinics allow you time to review the treatment plan and ask questions. High-pressure sales tactics are a red flag.
  • No material certificates provided: Ask for the Ivoclar batch certificate for E-Max or the zirconia blank documentation. If the clinic cannot provide this, the material origin is questionable.
  • Excessive tooth preparation: If a clinic recommends crowns when veneers would suffice, or grinds teeth down to thin pegs, the treatment is more aggressive than necessary. Always ask why crowns are recommended over veneers.
  • No dentist credentials shared: Ask for the treating dentist's name, qualifications, and experience in cosmetic cases.

MedProper's Quality Assurance

  • All dental work performed in a JCI-accredited hospital environment
  • Only genuine Ivoclar E-Max and certified zirconia materials used
  • Material certificates provided with every case
  • Digital Smile Design included in every veneer treatment
  • Minimal-prep protocol as standard — crowns recommended only when clinically necessary
  • Named dentist assigned to your case from consultation through final fitting
  • Post-treatment WhatsApp support for any concerns after you return home

Aftercare: What to Do When You Return Home

Your new veneers are bonded and settled before you leave Istanbul, but proper aftercare in the weeks and months following treatment ensures the best long-term outcome.

First 48 Hours

  • Avoid very hot or very cold foods and drinks — your teeth may be slightly sensitive after preparation and bonding
  • Eat soft foods for the first day (pasta, soup, yoghurt, scrambled eggs)
  • Avoid hard, crunchy, or sticky foods (nuts, toffee, crusty bread, raw carrots)
  • Do not bite directly into food with your front veneers — cut food into smaller pieces

First Two Weeks

  • Continue eating with care — the bonding reaches full strength within 24 to 48 hours, but caution reduces the risk of displacement
  • Brush gently with a soft toothbrush — avoid aggressive scrubbing at the gum line
  • Use the fluoride mouthwash provided in your care kit
  • If you experience any sensitivity, use a desensitising toothpaste (Sensodyne or equivalent)

Long-Term Care

  • Schedule a check-up with your home dentist within 4 to 6 weeks of returning
  • Attend professional cleanings every 6 months
  • If you grind your teeth at night, wear your night guard every night without exception
  • Contact MedProper via WhatsApp if you notice any issues — chipping, loosening, sensitivity, or gum inflammation

What If Something Goes Wrong After You Return Home?

MedProper provides post-treatment support via WhatsApp. If a veneer chips, loosens, or causes discomfort:

  1. Send photos and a description of the issue via WhatsApp
  2. Our dental team reviews the case, usually within 24 hours
  3. If the issue can be resolved locally, we advise your home dentist on the appropriate repair
  4. If the issue requires re-treatment in Istanbul, we arrange a return visit with the same dentist at no charge for manufacturing defects within the warranty period

Frequently Asked Questions (16)

How much do veneers cost in Turkey per tooth?

At MedProper, E-Max veneers cost from €285 per tooth, porcelain crowns from €98 per tooth, and composite bonding from €120 per tooth. A full Hollywood Smile with 20 E-Max veneers costs from €6,352, including 5 hotel nights. These prices include all consultation, laboratory, and fitting costs. For other treatments, hotel accommodation is available as an optional add-on (price on request).

How long do veneers from Turkey last?

E-Max and porcelain veneers last 15 to 25 years with proper care. Composite bonding lasts 5 to 8 years. The main factor affecting longevity is oral hygiene and whether you grind your teeth at night. If bruxism is present, a custom night guard is recommended.

What is the difference between E-Max and porcelain veneers?

E-Max is a specific type of porcelain (lithium disilicate) manufactured by Ivoclar Vivadent. It offers superior translucency and strength compared to generic feldspathic porcelain. When Turkish clinics advertise "porcelain veneers" without specifying the brand, they may be using a lower-grade ceramic. At MedProper, we use exclusively Ivoclar E-Max for veneers and certified zirconia for crowns.

Are composite veneers in Turkey worth it?

Composite veneers are worth it for minor corrections — a chipped tooth, a small gap, or mild discolouration on one or two teeth. For a full smile makeover, E-Max veneers offer significantly better durability, stain resistance, and aesthetics. Given the cost of travelling to Turkey, most patients choose E-Max for the best long-term value.

How many days do I need in Turkey for veneers?

A typical veneer treatment at MedProper requires about 6 days in Istanbul. Day 1 is the initial examination and planning, day 2 is tooth preparation and temporary veneers, days 3 to 5 are the laboratory fabrication period (free time for you), and days 5 to 6 are the final fitting and bonding. Some patients extend their stay for additional comfort.

What are "turkey teeth" and why do they sometimes look bad?

"Turkey teeth" is an informal term used on social media to describe overly white, bulky, uniform veneers that look artificial. This outcome is caused by excessive tooth preparation, low-quality materials, one-size-fits-all shade selection, and lack of Digital Smile Design. It is not inherent to Turkey — it is the result of choosing a low-cost clinic without verifying their protocols. MedProper uses minimal-prep techniques, genuine E-Max materials, and individualised DSD to avoid this outcome.

Do veneers damage your natural teeth?

Veneers require the removal of a thin layer of enamel (0.3 to 0.5 mm for E-Max). This is a permanent change — once enamel is removed, the tooth will always need a veneer or crown. However, the amount removed is minimal and does not compromise the structural integrity of a healthy tooth. Composite bonding requires little to no enamel removal and is largely reversible. Crowns require more preparation (1.5 to 2 mm) and are recommended only when clinically necessary.

How much is a Hollywood Smile in Turkey?

A Hollywood Smile at MedProper costs from €6,352 for 20 E-Max veneers, including 5 nights at our partnered hotel and airport transfers; 20 porcelain crowns are priced on request. This compares to €16,000 to €24,000 at a UK private practice.

Can I get veneers if I have crowns or implants?

Yes. Veneers can be placed alongside existing crowns and implants. If an existing crown is visible in the smile zone and does not match the new veneers, it can be replaced with a new crown in the same shade during the same treatment. Implant-supported crowns can also be colour-matched. Your dentist will assess all existing restorations during the initial consultation and include any necessary replacements in the treatment plan.

What happens if a veneer chips or falls off after I go home?

Contact MedProper via WhatsApp with photos of the issue. Minor chips can often be repaired by your local dentist using composite bonding — we will provide instructions. If a veneer debonds (comes off intact), it can usually be re-cemented by any dentist. If re-fabrication is needed due to a manufacturing defect, MedProper covers the cost of the replacement veneer and re-fitting during a return visit within the warranty period.

Do I need to whiten my natural teeth before getting veneers?

If you are getting veneers on only a few teeth, whitening the surrounding natural teeth first ensures a consistent shade. If you are getting a full set (16 to 20 teeth), whitening is not necessary because all visible teeth will be covered by veneers. Your dentist will advise during the consultation.

Can I choose the shade of my veneers?

Yes. You are actively involved in shade selection. Your dentist will present options from the Vita shade guide, explain how each shade looks against your skin tone, and show you the result in the Digital Smile Design mockup before any preparation begins. You have the final say on the shade.

Is the procedure painful?

Tooth preparation is performed under local anaesthesia, so you will not feel pain during the procedure. Some patients experience mild sensitivity in the days following preparation, which is managed with over-the-counter pain relief and desensitising toothpaste. The final bonding appointment is painless and typically does not require anaesthesia.

Are veneers suitable for everyone?

Veneers are suitable for most adults with healthy teeth and gums. They are not recommended for patients with active gum disease (which must be treated first), severe bruxism without a night guard commitment, or teeth with insufficient enamel for bonding. Your dentist will assess your suitability during the virtual consultation and advise on any preparatory treatment needed.

How do MedProper veneers compare to Lumineers?

Lumineers are a branded ultra-thin veneer (approximately 0.2 mm) that require no tooth preparation. While the no-prep concept is appealing, Lumineers have limitations: they add thickness to the tooth surface (which can create a bulky appearance), offer less shade-changing capacity than E-Max, and cost €300 to €400 per tooth at most clinics. E-Max veneers with minimal preparation (0.3 to 0.5 mm) offer superior aesthetics, better colour coverage, and a more natural contour at a comparable or lower price point.

What is Digital Smile Design (DSD) and why does it matter?

Digital Smile Design is a planning tool that uses facial photographs, video, and digital software to create a virtual mockup of your final smile. It allows you and your dentist to agree on tooth shape, size, proportion, and shade before any irreversible preparation begins. DSD is included in every MedProper veneer treatment because it dramatically reduces the risk of an unsatisfactory outcome — you approve the design before your teeth are touched.
