3D cone beam CT scan for precise implant and surgical planning
Is it safe?
Your hospital holds the same JCI accreditation as Cleveland Clinic and Johns Hopkins. Verified by TEMOS for international patient safety.
Will the price change?
Your price is locked before you book. Surgery, hospital, hotel, transfers, aftercare — one number, no extras.
What if something goes wrong?
Mandatory insurance required by Turkish law. If a revision is needed — flights, hospital, surgeon — covered. You never pay twice.
Who's my surgeon?
Confirmed before you pay. Full credentials, specialisation, and patient results shared upfront. No last-minute switch.
What happens after I fly home?
24/7 WhatsApp with your coordinator. Scheduled video check-ups with your surgeon. 12 months, not 12 days.
A dental cone-beam CT scan (CBCT) produces a high-resolution 3D image of your teeth, jawbone, nerve pathways, and sinuses. It is the gold standard for pre-surgical planning, giving your dentist millimetre-precise data for implant placement, bone graft assessment, and complex extractions. At MedProper Istanbul, CBCT scans are performed in-house with the latest digital equipment.
Unlike 2D X-rays, CBCT reveals bone depth, width, and density in all three dimensions for accurate surgical planning.
Precise nerve canal mapping dramatically reduces the risk of nerve injury during implant placement or extractions.
The 3D data integrates with digital implant planning software, enabling template-guided surgery for optimal implant positioning.
At EUR 150 at MedProper, the same scan that costs EUR 300-500 in Western Europe is accessible to every patient who needs it.

It is strongly recommended. A CBCT scan reveals bone density and nerve positions that a 2D panoramic X-ray cannot show, allowing your surgeon to plan implant placement with maximum precision and safety.
A dental CBCT delivers approximately 0.05-0.2 mSv, far less than a medical CT scan (which can exceed 2 mSv). It is considered safe for dental diagnostic use.
A panoramic X-ray is sufficient for routine assessments. A CT scan is recommended when 3D measurements are needed, such as for implant placement, bone grafts, sinus lifts, or evaluating impacted teeth near nerves.
If the scan is recent (within 3-6 months), in DICOM format, and of sufficient field of view, it can potentially be used. Your MedProper coordinator can confirm compatibility before your trip.
