What is Full Abdominoplasty (Abdo 180)?
Full abdominoplasty removes the excess skin of the lower and upper abdomen, repairs the abdominal muscles that pregnancy or weight loss has separated, and re-drapes what remains over a flatter, firmer front. The scar sits low along the bikini line. It is the standard tummy tuck — the whole front of the abdomen, without the circumferential skin removal of an Abdominoplasty 360.

A full abdominoplasty addresses the front of the abdomen. A 360 continues around the flanks and lower back, removing skin circumferentially, and is the operation for patients whose excess skin wraps the whole midsection — usually after major weight loss.
It runs low across the abdomen along the bikini line, from hip to hip, positioned so that underwear and swimwear cover it. There is a second small scar around the navel. Both fade substantially over six to twelve months.
