Septorhinoplasty

Rhinoplasty focuses exclusively on reshaping the external appearance of the nose. Septorhinoplasty combines cosmetic rhinoplasty with septoplasty, which corrects a deviated septum to improve nasal breathing. If you have both aesthetic concerns and breathing difficulties, septorhinoplasty addresses both in one operation.

Septorhinoplasty typically takes between two and three hours under general anaesthesia. The exact duration depends on the complexity of the structural and cosmetic corrections required.

If a closed approach is used, all incisions are made inside the nostrils, leaving no visible scars. If an open approach is required, a small incision is made across the columella (the tissue between the nostrils), which heals into a barely perceptible fine line within a few months.

Most patients can safely fly seven days after surgery, once the external splint has been removed and the surgeon has confirmed satisfactory healing at the follow-up appointment.
