Minimally invasive crestal sinus lift performed through the implant site
Is it safe?
Your hospital holds the same JCI accreditation as Cleveland Clinic and Johns Hopkins. Verified by TEMOS for international patient safety.
Will the price change?
Your price is locked before you book. Surgery, hospital, hotel, transfers, aftercare — one number, no extras.
What if something goes wrong?
Mandatory insurance required by Turkish law. If a revision is needed — flights, hospital, surgeon — covered. You never pay twice.
Who's my surgeon?
Confirmed before you pay. Full credentials, specialisation, and patient results shared upfront. No last-minute switch.
What happens after I fly home?

A closed sinus lift (crestal approach) is a minimally invasive technique that elevates the maxillary sinus floor through the implant socket itself, without creating a separate window in the jawbone. It is used when a small amount of additional bone height is needed beneath the sinus for implant placement. The procedure is typically combined with simultaneous implant insertion, making it faster and less invasive than the open technique.
No lateral window or separate incision is needed. The lift is performed through the implant socket, resulting in less swelling and faster healing.
The implant is placed in the same session as the sinus lift, reducing total treatment time and the number of surgical procedures.
With no separate bone window, post-operative discomfort and swelling are significantly reduced compared to an open sinus lift.
At EUR 1,800 per sinus at MedProper, the closed sinus lift includes the lift procedure and bone graft material.
Days 1-2
Mild Discomfort
Slight swelling and tenderness at the surgical site. Do not blow your nose. Sneeze with your mouth open. Soft diet recommended.
Days 3-7
Rapid Healing
Symptoms resolve quickly due to the minimally invasive nature. Most patients feel largely normal within a week.
Months 3-6
Osseointegration
The implant integrates with the augmented bone. A follow-up confirms healing before the final crown is placed.
Duration
30-45 minutes (including implant)

Final crown at 3-6 months
A closed sinus lift is suitable when only 2-4 mm of additional bone is needed and there is enough existing bone (5-8 mm) for implant stability. When more bone height is required, the open technique is used.
Discomfort is minimal. The procedure is done under local anaesthesia and most patients report it feels similar to a standard implant placement. Recovery is faster and less uncomfortable than an open sinus lift.
If a small perforation occurs, it often seals itself or can be managed within the closed approach. In the rare event of a larger tear, the surgeon may convert to an open technique to repair it properly.
The EUR 1,800 price includes the bone graft material, specialised instruments, and the integrated nature of performing the lift and implant preparation simultaneously. The open sinus lift price (EUR 300) is for the surgical procedure only, with bone graft and membrane priced separately.
